Doctoral Student
Zhiying Wang joined Prof. James Hone’s group and began her doctoral studies in 2019. Her current research focuses on two-dimensional TMD moire heterostructures and their electronic and optical properties.
She got her bachelor degree in 2019 from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, majoring in Materials Science & Engineering. During this time, she worked with Prof. Tao Deng and her research focused on self-powered infrared detection using a graphene oxide film. Her previous research experiences have strengthened her interest and determination to continue her research in the field of two-dimensional materials.
